Soumya holds a joint patent for the process of manufacturing partially alloyed bronze powder through the reduction process. She has been actively involved in setting up metal powder plants across India assisting her father in the same. Playing an active role in the field, she designs furnaces, executes projects and sets up the product quality besides establishing the product in the market.

Presently she manages the company INVOLUTE METAL POWDER TECHNOLOGIES LLP which deals in technical know how transfer, turn key projects & marketing for ferrous & non-ferrous metal powders.
